Amsterdam-based boutique comes up with bra scrap scheme

In a massive bid to increase lingerie sales, Amsterdam-based lingerie boutique Je m’ Appelle Nikki has launched the so-called “bra scrap” scheme this week. The campaign was made to mimic the actual car scrappage scheme, which was launched recently in the United Kingdom and The Netherlands.
According to reports, women can return their old bra to the store and get up to 7.5 euros discount when buying a new one, regardless of the bra size. The bra scrap promo is application to all the collection offered in the boutique. Items that are up for grabs are high-fashion lingerie such as La Perla, Simone Perele and Aubade.
Company founder Nikki Crouwel said that they came up with this promotion because recession is greatly felt worldwide and in order to entice buyers in their boutique, they need to come up with promotions that will surely fit every women’s budget.
