Save up on gifts this Valentine’s Day

Valentine's Day Dinner

Overall spending for Valentine’s Day has increased by fifty cents, this was based on a comprehensive survey that was done recently. However, the average gift given by people to their loved ones has decreased by nearly $4 last year. This poses a challenge for men who have several gift ideas for their women but couldn’t spend as much as before due to several factors, such as the financial crisis.

Here are some great ideas that can be given or implemented during the Valentine’s Day without breaking the bank:

Valentine’s Dinner at home: Avoid the rush at local restaurants at this day and come up with a cost-effective yet sumptuous dinner. Why pay for extra charges in restaurants when you can convert those expenses to more food and special wine with your significant other.

• Personalized candies or pastries. Have her name placed on candies or pastries. Go to the nearest bakery and inquire about this. This is not as expensive as thought.

• Personalized photo album. So that she can store the special memory of the Valentine’s Day and other special occasions ahead.
