Consumer electronics no longer considered luxury gifts

In the past, the mere thought of buying the latest gadget or computer would mean shelling out a lot of money. It is no longer the case these days as consumer electronics have flourished so much that it has become a common purchase among consumers.

Fashion designer to launch collection online

Latest fashion trends are bound to be found online via fashion designer Derek Lam’s newest collection.

According to reports, Lam will let users of online site eBay to vote on his original and exclusive collection which will be sold exclusively via the site. The ready-to-wear collection which he will unveil to the public on February 2011 will take place at the New York Fashion Week. Once the collection is presented, the online users will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite items via eBay.

The final collection will then be sold via the site at fixed price rates, which could prove a great way to get an affordable but high quality gift for that someone special, especially some of his more unusual eyewear and lingerie, which has proved very popular.

In a press release, Lam said that having the opportunity to connect with online audiences all over the world has made fashion even more exciting. Collaborating with eBay made him innovative in terms of coming up with designs that fit the customers’ tastes.
